MEMBERSHIP RESPONSIBILTIES: It is up to you to decide how you can participate. However, the Wrench is completely organized and run by its members, so without participation it will cease to exist.

Staffing: We have no paid staff. We rely on members to put in a few hours a month to keep the Wrench open. Members are not required to staff the space, but if no one volunteers the space will never be open.

Membership Dues: Dues go directly to pay infrastructure costs such as rent and utilities. Annual membership is $120, which can be paid as $10 monthly. Family memberships are $200 or $17 monthly. Sliding scale memberships are also available; we ask that you choose an amount that you can commit to every month.

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS: The greatest reward may simply be keeping this community space open. Members are also trusted to borrow books from the Wrench's collection.

Reserving Space: Members have priority in reserving the space for events like workshops, speakers, films, meetings, and performances. Members also have priority in reserving wall space for art exhibits.

Participation in group decisions: We use a consensus-based, non-hierarchical model of organizing. Members are welcome and encouraged to participate in collective meetings, and to join smaller working groups organizing particular aspects of the project.
